Online classes continue for Lodge School

The Ministry of Education has been served with a pre-action protocol letter.

Online classes will continue for students and teachers of the Lodge School for the remainder of the week, the Ministry of Education has said.

In a brief statement, the ministry explained that this is to allow for easier work coordination between the two cleaning companies and will assist in them completing the work as soon as possible.

Amid concerns about mould and other issues at the St John school, cleaners started work at the facility last weekend.

The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training thanks parents and guardians of students for their understanding at this time, as all efforts are being made to ensure that students and teachers return to a healthy and safe environment.
