UPDATE – Police probe attack in The City

A man in his 40s was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with injuries about his body following an incident at the junction of Pinfold Street and Coleridge Street, The City, which occurred around 8:58 a.m.

According to a release from The Barbados Police Service, the injured man “was reported to have suffered from injuries suspected to be slash wounds/cuts.” 

An individual is currently assisting the police with its probe into the incident.

Anyone who can provide any information that can assist with the investigation is being asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 430 7189 or 430 7190, Police Emergency at  211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800 TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station. 

The police assured all information received would be “strictly confidential”.
