Nicholas Brancker Band promises to ‘uplift’ on Easter Sunday

Nicholas Brancker loves to share his passion for music and culture with audiences.

Since its inception in 2015, The Nicholas Brancker Band has embarked on a mission to encapsulate the very essence of Barbadian and Caribbean culture through their music. Led by the talented Nicholas Brancker on bass and musical direction, along with Adrian Odle overseeing production management and sound engineering, the band showcases a lineup of exceptional musicians including Melvin Alick on drums, Andre Daniel and Darien Bailey on keyboards, Romaro Greaves on saxophones, Kevyn Lynch on trumpet, Jomo Slusher on trombone, Tristan Haynes on guitar and Joshua Holder as Playback Engineer.

On Easter Sunday, March 31, music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the captivating fusion of Caribbean rhythms comes alive with the band at Codrington College for Uplift in association with Starcom Network.

Audiences can anticipate a soul-stirring journey as the band collaborates with a host of talented artists and friends, including The Barbados Youth Orchestra, Edwin, RPB, Mahalia, Nikita, Allison Norville, Adrian Clarke, Ch’an, Kweku Jelani, the Barbados Police Service Band, JJ Poulter, and The Barbados National Youth Steel Orchestra.

Brancker expressed his excitement for the upcoming event, stating, “We are thrilled to be able to share our passion for our culture and music with audiences at Codrington College and we hope they will feel as inspired and motivated as we are.”

The event owes its success in part to the generous support of sponsors who have stepped up to make it possible. The Nicholas Brancker Band extended its heartfelt gratitude to The National Cultural Foundation, Starcom Network, Martindales, Coca-Cola, and the Central Bank of Barbados for their invaluable contributions.
