2 men shot and injured in St Michael

Two men are nursing gunshot injuries following a shooting in St Michael on Saturday, police say.

Around 2:45 p.m., police responded to a report of two men being shot at a Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue address.

Police said the men, ages 31 and 36, were in the backyard of a residence watching television when gunshots were heard. 

One man was shot in his head and arm while the other was shot in his leg. They were both transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in privately-owned vehicles. 

The investigation is ongoing.
