Man, 75, dies in road accident

The island has recorded its sixth road fatality for the year, the third in three days.

According to police, Ainsley Roosevelt Bradshaw, 75 of Kings Court, Lodge Road, Christ Church died after being involved in an accident that occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Monday.

Bradshaw was walking along Lodge Road when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene. Bradshaw was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.

Police are appealing to the public for information about the vehicle and the driver involved.

Investigations are continuing.
