Graydon Sealy School closed; no water at the school

The Graydon Sealy Secondary School will be closed today as there is no water at the school.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday a water main burst in the vicinity of the school.

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has commenced work on the problem.  Water pressure in the area has been reduced allowing some residents in the area to have limited access to water, however, the school remains without.

The BWA is unable to say at this stage when regular service can resume.

The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training appreciates your understanding in the matter.
