BWA: Pumping in St Michael affected by an electrical fault

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise the public that one of its St Michael pumping stations went offline this morning due to an electrical fault. The station is now back online via generator power, however at a reduced capacity.

Low-pressure or water outages may affect customers in Bridgetown, Christ Church and parts of St Michael.

Water tankers have been dispatched to assist residents and businesses in the affected districts as a temporary measure. However, there may be delays in serving customers due to heavy demand.

The Barbados Water Authority apologizes to our valued customers for the inconvenience. (PR)
