Tricia Watson resigns from DLP

Days after political leader of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) Ralph Thorne announced the removal of Tricia Watson from the Senate, the attorney has resigned from the party.
In a letter to the acting general secretary Pedro Shepherd, Watson, who said she first knew of her removal through a reporter, blamed what she saw as the lack of civil treatment meted out to her as the main reason for resigning
Shepherd confirmed on Friday he had received Watson letter. (EJ)
