(GP) R L Seale Distilling, Foursquare 14 YO Equipoise Rum has won the prestigious International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) 2024 Rum Trophy. The decision was made by international judges who gathered in London to taste over 4 000 spirits entries from around the world. Last week, members of the Spirits Judging Committee were tasked with retasting all the 2024 gold-winning spirits, selecting the very best as this year’s trophy winners. “Having retasted many gold and gold outstanding award-winning rums, our judges unanimously selected R L Seale Foursquare 14 YO Equipoise Rum as the rum trophy winner,” the IWSC, the oldest spirits competition in the world, said on its website. The Foursquare Distillery was established in 1996 by the Seale family, whose rum-making heritage dates back to 1820.
