Scores of new JPs sworn in

It was a special day for approximately 100 new Justices of Peace on Monday when they were sworn in at State House this morning before President Dame Sandra Mason.

Notable new JPs are business executive Natalie Abrahams, event producer De Carla Applewaithe, and community activist Carlitha Andrews, who all expressed their gratitude for being chosen for this new responsibility.

They were the first batch of a total 344 who will be sworn in as JPs during the course of this week. (SB)
