Barbados most creative among Caribbean countries

Barbados has been declared the most creative country in the Caribbean, following its ranking of 77th on the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2024.

The announcement was made by Minister in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment, Senator Chad Blackman, during the opening of the Global Business Week Conference 2024 at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

Delivering the keynote address, Blackman stressed the importance of innovation as the driving force behind the nation’s competitiveness.

He urged the government and private sector to focus on sustainable practices and continuous development.
