The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) has discontinued the flash flood warning which went into effect this morning.

In a brief statement, it explained that the decision was taken as the threat of heavy to intense showers had diminished.

However, the BMS said there remains the possibility of intermittent light to moderate showers for the next six to 12 hours.
