Flash Flood warning in effect

A flash-flood warning is in effect for Barbados.
The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) says a surface to low-level instability is affecting the island and is forecast to generate rainfall accumulations of 2 to 4 inches (50 to 100 mm).
“These conditions are predicted to prevail during the morning and afternoon periods with some improvement expected during the evening and into the night, “ the BMS said in a statement
The warning will be updated at 6 p.m. today or sooner if conditions warrant.
