Project manager accused of $135 000 theft

A project manager is currently on $40 000 bail after appearing in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court accused of theft.

Greg Brian Kirk Belgrave, of Lowlands Park, Christ Church, is charged with the indictable offence of stealing $135 000, belonging to Paul Adams, being the proceeds of Scotia Bank Limited drawn on the account of Optimum Orthopaedics Incorporated, payable to Abbah Transport Incorporated between April 5 and December 19, 2023.

After there was no objection to the 51-year-old receiving bail, Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes imposed several conditions, including that Belgrave hand in his passport to the court and report to the Oistins Police Station every Tuesday and Saturday.

Defence attorney Sade Harris represented the accused, who will return to court on July 14.
