Two men found dead at Foul Bay identified

The two men found dead at Foul Bay Beach, St Philip, on Tuesday night have been identified as Javan Devere Burton, 33, of Ocean City, St. Philip, and Dejuan Amon Niles, 21, of Hopewell, Silver Sands, Christ Church.

Police at the District ‘C’ Station are now conducting a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths, which have been classified as unnatural.

According to police reports, authorities were alerted at 11:18 p.m. when a male contacted the Operations Control Room, stating that he had been involved in an altercation with another man at the beach.

Officers went to the scene and when they searched the area, they discovered the lifeless bodies of the two men, both bearing multiple stab wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information that could assist in their investigations to come forward. Witnesses or individuals with relevant details are encouraged to contact District ‘C’ Police Station at 416-8200/04, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.

Investigations are ongoing.
