DEM closes La Soufrière remembrance with free movie night

La Soufrière, St Vincent.

The Department of Emergency Management (DEM) will host a movie night on Saturday, April 19, in the carpark of its No. 24 Warrens Industrial Park, Warrens, St Michael headquarters starting at 6:30 p.m.

 

The featured movie is Volcano, starring Tommy Lee Jones. Admission to the movie is free, and persons are encouraged to walk with their blankets and chairs for a night under the stars.

 

This movie is the final event being hosted by the Department, in remembrance of the April 2021 eruption of the volcano in St Vincent and the Grenadines and its impact on Barbados under the theme Remembering La Soufriere.
