Search continues for escaped prisoner

The police manhunt continues for escaped prisoner Kishon Lamar Anderson Thomas.

The 26-year-old, who was an inmate at Dodds Prison, escaped while at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital around 4 p.m. on May 2. He was seeking medical treatment at the time. Thomas, alias Pappy”, “Paps” or “Tom”, formerly resided at Seaview, St James.

According to police, information suggested he was last seen driving a silver Suzuki APV van bearing the registration number M7730, travelling towards Carrington Village, St Michael. While the vehicle has since been recovered, Thomas remains at large.

The escapee is approximately six feet tall and has a dark complexion and medium build. He was wearing blue pants and was bareback.

Any person who may know the whereabouts of Kishon Lamar Anderson Thomas is asked to contact C.I.D. personnel at the Central Police Station at telephone numbers 430-7189 or 430-7190, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1 800-8477 or the nearest Police Station.

Members of the public are reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons, and any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted. (BPS/BT)
