One dead, five injured after vehicle crashes into business

One person is dead and five injured after a motor lorry crashed into a business establishment on the Mighty Grynner Highway Saturday night.

The vehicle was travelling towards the Frank Worrell Roundabout at around 11:55 p.m. when the driver lost control, exited the roadway and crashed into the business, injuring six people.

One of those persons died on the spot, and the others were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact the Black Rock Police Station at 417 7500 or 417 7501. (PR/BT)
