Central Bank headquarters to close for repairs

The Central Bank of Barbados said on Thursday that its headquarters, the Tom Adams Financial Centre, will be closed from Monday, September 8, to Friday, September 12, 2025, to facilitate urgent repairs to its air conditioning system.

However, during this period, the Foreign Exchange and Fund Management Department, which deals with foreign exchange-related matters, will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Online services such as Forex Online will not be affected, and the Bank’s staff will work remotely during the period. The bank can be contacted at 436-6870.

Normal hours are expected to resume on Monday, September 15, 2025.

The Central Bank thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation during this essential infrastructure upgrade and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
