Taxi goes up in flames

Three people escaped unharmed after a taxi caught fire on Saturday around 2:40 p.m., between Industry Road and Marine Road, Bush Hall, St Michael.

The taxi driver stopped after his passengers, a woman and her son, informed him of a burning smell. It was shortly after he inspected the vehicle that they noticed smoke. The car subsequently caught on fire.

A Barbados Fire Service tender arrived quickly to extinguish the blaze. (SB)
