The taxi driver stopped after his passengers, a woman and her son, informed him of a burning smell. It was shortly after he inspected the vehicle that they noticed smoke. The car subsequently caught on fire. A Barbados Fire Service tender arrived quickly to extinguish the blaze. (SB)
