Triple murder and murder plot charges laid against St Philip man

A 49-year-old St Philip man has been charged with three murders and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

Nigel Pinder of Cox Hill was arrested and charged in connection with the killings of Randy Brathwaite, Junior Taitt, and Shane Renaldo Parris, as well as alleged plots to murder both Taitt and Parris.

The Barbados Police Service said the charges relate to offences committed between June 2023 and January 2024. Brathwaite and Taitt were killed sometime between June 27, 2023, and December 5, 2024, while Parris was murdered on January 13, 2024.

The alleged conspiracies to murder Taitt and Parris are said to have taken place in June 2023 and January 2024, respectively.

Pinder is scheduled to appear at the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court, which is located at the Oistins Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
