Flash-Flood Watch issued for Barbados

The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) has issued a Flash-Flood Watch for the island as excessive rainfall is expected to affect Barbados today, Friday, November 7.In a bulletin issued recently, the Met Service warned that the heavy showers could lead to flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas, with conditions expected to intensify tonight and into Saturday. Officials said additional watches or warnings may be issued as the system develops.Residents are urged to stay alert for further updates from the BMS and follow the guidance of emergency authorities.
