BLP names Tyra Trotman as St Michael Central candidate

Attorney-at-law Tyra Trotman has been named the Barbados Labour Party’s candidate for St Michael Central following today’s nomination at Combermere School.

Trotman will succeed Speaker of the House Arthur Holder, who has announced that he will not be contesting the next general election. Holder had publicly endorsed Trotman ahead of the nomination.

The outcome now sets the stage for the party’s campaign in the constituency.
