Court Eden Lodge man appears in court on murder, firearm charges Jenique Belgrave13/04/20260411 views A 34-year-old St Michael man appeared before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday on several charges, including murder and gun possession. Darion Alex Hackett, of Block 8E, Sorrel Lane, Eden Lodge, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick. Hackett is charged with the murder of Mitch Boyce in the District ‘C’ jurisdiction on January 12. He also faces five counts of endangering life, four counts of use of a firearm, and one count each of serious bodily harm, violent disorder, and aggravated criminal damage, all allegedly committed on the same date. He is further accused of possession of a firearm and 21 rounds of ammunition in the District ‘A’ jurisdiction, on April 1.
