Pro Shottas lead BFA Division One table

Despite being held to a goalless draw by bottom-of-the-table Fitts Village on Wednesday, Pro Shottas hold a one point lead at the top of the Barbados Football Association’s Division One table.

 

In the night’s other results, Parish Land and Deacons battled to a 1-1 draw, while Notre Dame hammered Barbados Soccer Academy 4-0. The game between Silver Sands and Greens ended in a 2-2 draw and Potential Ballers edged Whitehall 1-0. The remaining game saw Pinelands defeat Technique 2-0.

 

Heading into the next round of games, Pro Shottas lead on 18 points, ahead of Empire on 17 and Pinelands with 16. Fourth placed Notre Dame have so far amassed 15 points and lead fifth placed Technique on goal difference. 

 

Having been demoted from the Premier League last season, Deacons are sixth on 15 points with Parish Land seventh on 14 points and Potential Ballers eighth on 12.

 

Whitehall lie ninth in the standings on eight points, with Silver Sands 10th on six points.  The relegation positions are occupied by Barbados Soccer Academy in11th position on five points, Greens United in 12th on four points and bottom of the table Fitts Village on two points.
