Black Rock man denies having gun, ammo, grenade

A St Michael man has pleaded not guilty to firearm, ammunition and explosive device charges and is expected to return to the High Court later this month.

During his arraignment in the No. 3 Supreme Court, Sheraldon Omar William Cadogan, of Hinkson Gap, Black Rock, denied having a.32 Magnum calibre revolver, three rounds of ammunition and a flash bang grenade, all without a permit, on July 11, 2024.

Acting Senior State Counsel Anastacia McMeo-Boyce is prosecuting, while attorney Shadia Simpson appeared as a friend of the court on Cadogan’s behalf.

The case was adjourned until May 26.
