Ifill nets five to power St Bernard’s Primary to big win

Trazahri Ifill scored an amazing five goals as St Bernard’s Primary defeated St Margaret’s Primary 7-0 in their first game of the National Sports Council Bico Primary Schools Football competition. 

Playing in the Dennis Leacock Zone at the Conrad Hunte Playing Field, St Bernard’s also got goals from Shemari Gittens and Aakash Jones.

Lopsided results were the order of the day in that zone as Grantley Prescod thrashed St Joseph Primary 7-1, while Providence had a 4-1 win over Hillaby Turner’s Hall.

Playing in the Edward Smith/Frank Holder Zone, Elliot Belgrave and 

St Lucy Primary played out a goalless draw, Gordon Greenidge Primary edged Selah Primary 1-0 and Roland Edwards secured a default 3-0 win over Half Moon Fort.

In the Kenville Cab Layne Zone, Eagles Academy and St Judes drew 1-1,  St George Primary blanked Mount Tabor Primary 4-0, Hits 106.7 Bay Primary defeated Cuthbert Moore Primary 3-0 and St Luke’s Brighton had a default 3-0 win over Workmans.

And in the Ricardo Mickey Gibson Zone, Milton Lynch eased to 4-0 win over Wills Primary, Arthur Smith secured a 3-0 victory over St Bartholomew and St Gabriels edged People’s Cathedral 3-2.
