Man denies serious bodily harm charges; case set for June

A St Michael man has denied serious bodily harm charges and is scheduled to return to the Supreme Court next month for the continuation of his case.

Sherman Don Alexis, of Brittons New Road, Brittons Hill, appeared before Justice Laurie-Anne Smith-Bovell in the No. 4 Supreme Court and pleaded not guilty to causing serious bodily harm to Leron McMillan, with intent to do him serious bodily harm or to maim, disfigure or disable him, and to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting serious bodily harm.

The offences allegedly occurred on September 10, 2022.

State Counsel Paul Prescod is prosecuting the case, which continues on June 9.
