Double delight for Belmont Primary netballers

Belmont Primary won back-to-back games on Monday as the Pedialyte Sport National Sports Council Primary School Netball competition continued with play in the Sonja Banfield/Pamela Proverbs Zone at the Glebe in St George.

Belmont blanked George Lamming Primary 9-0, and also eased past Cuthbert Moore Primary 5-0.

St Jude’s Primary were beaten 5-1 by Luther Thorne, before bouncing back to beat George Lamming 3-0.

In the day’s remaining games, Grantley Prescott Primary edged out Cuthbert Moore Primary 3-2, but were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackman and Gollop Primary.

Play continues tomorrow with action in the Inez Taylor/Sonia Knight Zone in Speightstown.
