Chickmont win big in BFA Division 2

Zone A leaders Chickmont thrashed Hothersal 5-0 when action in the Barbados Football Association Division 2 continued.

That result kept them at the top of the table on 19 points, one clear of second placed Atlas United, who edged Lodge Road 2-1.

Martindales Road remained third on 14 points despite a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Glebe, who are now fourth, also on 14 points but with an inferior goal difference.

In the remaining Zone A game, United Stars Alliance moved up to fifth place on 13 points following a 2-0 victory over Maxwell.

Zone D action saw both of the top teams dropping points. 

Leaders L&R United now have 23 points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Red Hill, while second placed Ivy Rovers failed to capitalise, as they drew 1-1 with Kings Park Rangers to advance to 20 points.

Youth Milan moved up one place to third on 13 points following a 2-1 win over Central League Spartans, while Orange Hill Elite defeated fourth placed Eastern United 2-1.
