Harrison, Combermere claim Under-16 volleyball titles

Harrison College captured the girls’ title, while Combermere School claimed boys’ honours as the CSA Sports/National Sports Council Under-16 Schools Volleyball Competition concluded at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium.

Harrison College edged Foundation in a closely contested girls’ final, winning in straight sets 30-28, 26-24.

In the girls’ third-place playoff, Lester Vaughan defeated Queen’s College 25-18, 25-10.

On the boys’ side, Combermere were crowned champions after defeating Deighton Griffith School 25-13, 25-19.

Harrison College also secured third place among the boys, overcoming The Alleyne School 25-23, 25-15.
