Man denies trafficking, importing cannabis; granted bail

A St Michael man has denied trafficking and importing cannabis and will return to court in October after being granted bail.

Ronald O’Brian Jordan, 41, of Storey Gap, Codrington Hill, pleaded not guilty to trafficking and importing cannabis on June 24 after appearing before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates Court.

The alleged drugs weigh 3.84 kilogrammes with an estimated street value of $30 400.

No objections were made to Jordan’s release, and he was granted bail of $10 000 with surety.

Attorney Michael Carrington represents the accused, who returns to court on October 13.
