Williams admits illegal possession of firearm, ammo

The sentencing phase of a firearm and ammunition case against a Christ Church man is scheduled to take place in the Supreme Court next week.

Clarence Raekwon Emilio Williams, of Coverley Terrace, Christ Church, appeared before Justice Carlisle Greaves and pleaded guilty to having a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and seven rounds of ammunition without valid licences on February 25, 2025.

Acting Director of Public Prosecutions Krystal Delaney accepted the plea on behalf of the State in Supreme Court No. 3.

Defence attorney Verla Depeiza waived the pre-sentence report, and Justice Greaves ordered Williams’ antecedents and custody records.

Sentencing is set for July 10, when the facts and submissions will also be heard.
