Wolverines dominate Shottas in BNA league action

Wolverines produced a dominant display in Diamonds Division action of the Barbados Netball Association League on Wednesday, cruising to a commanding 42–9 victory over Wow Shottas. 

They led 12-1 after the first quarter, 22-5 at half time and 33-7 after the third break.

Tyesha Trotman led the way after converting 22 of her 26 attempts, while  Kianna Harte netted 19 of 36 and Miracle Gibson one of her three shots.

For the Shottas, Ashlee Clarke completed five of her 18 shots, Amaris Watson two of four and Nayeli Yearwood two of nine.

In the Sapphire Division, Phoenix Warriors saw off Signia Globe St Barnabas 26-15, with Giselle Burke scoring 14 of 21 shots and Sherry-Ann Toppin 12 of 15 .

For Signia Globe St Barnabas, Damaiah Craigg scored a team high seven of 14 attempts, Khalia Griffith five of nine and Maliyah Darlington-Ince three of five.

The Warriors dominated the game throughout, leading  7-2 after the first quarter, 16-6 at half time and 24-9 at the end of the penultimate session.
