Flash flood watch extended as tropical wave continues to affect Barbados

The Barbados Meteorological Services has extended its flash flood watch until 6 p.m. today as a tropical wave continues to bring periods of moderate to heavy showers across the island.
Forecasters say up to an additional inch of rainfall is possible this morning, increasing the risk of flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas, with conditions expected to improve during the afternoon.

Motorists and residents are urged to exercise caution and continue monitoring official weather updates, as the watch could be upgraded to a warning if conditions worsen.
