Assault case transferred to Holetown court

A Cave Hill man accused of assault has been granted bail and will have his case heard in Holetown after appearing in a Bridgetown court.

Tre Tykel Worrell appeared in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court charged that on April 20, he assaulted Sasha O’Garro.  

Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick read the charge before transferring the case to Holetown Magistrates’ Court where it will be heard on September 16. 

No plea was taken. 

Worrell, who was granted bail of $2 500, was told to stay away from the complainant.
