Bayview Urgent Care partners with RUBIS to offer discounted preventative health screenings

In a major step towards improving community access to preventative healthcare, Bayview Urgent Care has officially announced a new partnership with Rubis, under which corporate and retail customers will receive discounts on Bayview Urgent Care’s new basic screening packages.

The partnership aims to address the rising prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by making routine medical check-ups more accessible and affordable for Barbadians, particularly the uninsured. Designed as a proactive wellness baseline, Bayview Urgent Care’s basic medical package aligns with the hospital’s mandate to provide routine diagnostic screenings before patients become ill.

Bayview Urgent Care’s basic health package features critical baseline screenings, including urinalysis, blood sugar and cholesterol testing, a full physical exam, with all consultation fees included. Should further diagnostics be required or requested, additional screenings, including prostate-specific antigen (PSA), full blood counts (FBC), ECG, digital mammograms, and CT calcium scoring tests are also available if deemed medically necessary.
