Police release identity of St Lucy crash victim

Police have identified the 32-year-old woman who died after being struck by a truck in St Lucy on Tuesday morning.

Jodi Sealy, of Maycocks, St Lucy, lost her life shortly after 7:20 a.m. following a collision at the junction of Maycocks Road and Maycocks Terrace.

Police said a truck collided with a van and spun before striking two pedestrians. Sealy died at the scene, while the second pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Crab Hill Police Station at 310-7700.

Investigations continue.
