Dr Lynette Holder appointed chair of BRA Board

The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) announces the appointment of Dr Lynette Holder as chair of its Board, effective July 31, 2026.

Dr Holder is chief executive officer of the Small Business Association of Barbados. She is an accredited governance professional, a leader in financial services supervision, a champion of small business development and an expert in business administration. She brings more than 35 years of business experience in Barbados and the wider region.

She succeeds Sandra Osborne in this role. All other members of the board remain the same, ensuring continuity in the authority’s oversight and direction. The management and staff of the Authority extend sincere appreciation to Osborne for her service and leadership.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr Holder as board chair. Her governance credentials and deep understanding of the business sector will be an asset to the authority. We also thank Osborne for her outstanding contribution over the past 12 years and wish her every success in her future endeavours,” said Jason King, revenue commissioner.
