Fish vendor denies wounding charge, released on bail

Fish vendor John O’Brien Stuart is now on $3 000 bail after denying a wounding charge in a Bridgetown court.

The 50-year-old resident of Cavewood Road, Tichbourne, St Michael, pleaded not guilty in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court to maliciously wounding Kerwin Rogers on August 19.

After there were no objections, Stuart’s case was adjourned until December 8.

Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick warned the accused to stay away from the complainant until the case was fully adjudicated.
