Morris, 25, of Block 11A, Factory Avenue, Wildey, appeared before the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court and pleaded guilty to the offence. Prosecutor Sergeant Kenmore Phillips told the court that the woman was in her kitchen around 1 p.m. when she heard someone shout her name. She responded, went to a window at the front of the house and saw Morris, who asked her for a cup of water. She gave him the water and returned to the kitchen to finish eating. Her back was to the front door when she felt someone touch her buttocks. She looked back and saw the accused. She shouted: “What the **** you doing in here?” But Morris laughed and touched her buttocks again. She told him to leave her house, and he did. The incident was reported to the police. After he was taken into custody, Morris was assessed by a mental health officer, who found that he had experienced a mental health issue in the past. Acting Magistrate Shakieda Sealy ordered the pre-sentence report and released Morris, who was represented by attorney Rico Blackman, on $10 000 bail with surety. He returns to court on January 7, 2027 (JB)
