Man admits firearm, drug offences

A Christ Church man has pleaded guilty to several offences arising from the possession of a shotgun, nine rounds of ammunition and quantities of cannabis and the synthetic drug MDMA, also known as ecstasy, on December 19, 2024.

Appearing before Justice Douglas Frederick in the No. 2 Supreme Court, Randolph Jason Victor, of Lowlands, Christ Church, admitted having a 12-gauge shotgun and nine rounds of ammunition illegally.

He also admitted possessing 146.5 kilogrammes of cannabis, having a traffickable quantity of the drug and possessing 1.04 kilogrammes of 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA).

Acting Principal State Counsel Kevin Forde, who appeared for Principal State Counsel Rudolph Burnett, accepted the plea.

Victor, represented by attorney Kendrid Sargeant, will return to court on October 28, when the court will hear the facts of the case.
