Judge to sum up firearm trial on Monday

Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell will sum up the evidence in Miguel Bobb-Blackman’s firearm and ammunition trial on Monday in the No. 4 Supreme Court.

Bobb-Blackman, 24, of Spruce Street, The City, has denied possessing a Ruger .45-calibre pistol and four rounds of ammunition on June 12, 2025.

He is represented by defence counsel Shadia Simpson, while acting Senior State Counsel Paul Prescod is prosecuting.

A nine-member jury heard evidence from five police officers before Bobb-Blackman gave an unsworn statement from the dock and called one witness.
