Man jailed 10 months for Massy Distribution theft

A 33-year-old St Michael man has been sentenced to 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to stealing from Massy Distribution.

Leron Alexander Wilfred Bennett, of Quarry Road, Bank Hall, appeared before acting Magistrate Shakieda Sealy in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court No. 1 on Monday, November 2.

Bennett pleaded guilty to the theft, which occurred on October 13, 2026.

In addition to the custodial sentence, he was ordered to pay $2 386.43 in compensation.

Police said Bennett was arrested and charged by officers from the Criminal Investigations Department at Black Rock.
