Men on curfew

Two accused in their 30s must be indoors at from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily until criminal cases against them are completed in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.

Lesanto Orelston Hydrafel Lavine, of No. 2 Well Gap, Cave Hill, St Michael must also continue to report to the Black Rock Police Station every Monday before 9 a.m. while Roger Omar Moore, of Bath Land, St John, must now report to the District ‘C’ Police Station every Wednesday by 10 a.m. with valid identification.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick imposed the conditions on the duo after they made successful applications for bail.

It is alleged that on December 5, 2018 33-year-old Lavine, not being at his place of abode had with him four screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench and a hammer, for use in the course of burglary. While 34-year-old Moore is accused of having a crowbar for use in the course of burglary on the same day when he was not at his place of abode.

Lavine who was the most talkative of the two appealed for bail on several grounds including that today was his mother’s birthday.

He was successful and both accused walked out the court after securing $3,000 bail with one surety.
