COVID-19 UPDATE: Two new cases and one recovery

Two Barbadian women are the latest COVID-19 positive cases.  Aged 21 and 35, they were both identified through contact tracing.

The number of persons who have been confirmed infected by the viral illness now stands at 88.  Meanwhile, one person will be released from isolation today.

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory carried out 141 tests yesterday, bringing the total number of tests completed since February 11 to 3,924.  Sixty-eight people have now recovered, and 13 are in isolation.  There have been seven deaths. (BGIS)
