Warrens Park woman on multiple charges

A female sales representative has been remanded to Dodds on ammunition, money laundering and drug charges.

Shellie-Ann Monique Atkins, of No. 133 Warrens Park South, St Michael is accused of having 20 rounds of .223 ammunition; 50 rounds of .45 auto calibre ammunition and one 5.56 calibre rifle without the necessary licences.

It is further alleged that on the same day Atkins had cocaine in her possession,
which was also intended for supply and trafficking.

The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charges, which allegedly occurred on June 17. She appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick today and was represented by attorney-at-law Rashida Edwards.

Atkins will make her next appearance in the District ‘A’ No.1 Magistrates’ Court on July 20.
