Man nursing gunshot injuries following shooting at Haynesville

Lawmen are probing a shooting at Haynesville, St James which occurred last night around 9 p.m.

Police spokesman Micheal Blackman said , “It was reported that two unknown men who were dressed in dark clothing came from a track and opened fire in the direction of a group of men who were in the area of a canteen at Haynesville, St James.”

Blackman said that lawmen learnt that a man who was identified as 30-year-old Teron Forde of Hartland Road, Haynesville St James received a gun wound to his left leg and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth hospital in a private motor car for medical attention. He is reported to be in stable condition.
