Walrond to represent PdP in St George North

The People’s Party for Democracy and Development (PdP) says David Walrond will be its candidate in the October 26 by-election for St George North.

The seat became vacant after long-standing Barbados Labour Party Member of Parliament, Gline Clarke, announced his retirement from elective politics.

Walrond previously ran for Solutions Barbados in St James North in the 2018 General Election.

Waldron was announced as the PdP’s candidate during a function at Sam’s Place, The Glebe.

In his acceptance speech Walrond said he was honoured to be chosen.
