Reifer satisfied with campaign support

The Democratic Labour Party (DLP) candidate for St George North Floyd Reifer is moving full steam ahead with his canvassing efforts in the constituency.

This morning, while carrying out his groundwork in the constituency, with the support of former DLP government minister and candidates, Reifer said his plan of action is to meet and visit the homes of as many constituents as possible.

“We have been doing a lot of walking over the last two weeks and we spoke to a lot of people within the communities. So for us, it is just to continue that work, continue to listen to the issues of the people, and like I said before, people have a lot to say. So for us it is just continuing to build the relationships and get the people on board for the Democratic Labour Party.

“As we go through the area, we are going to hit the shops, we are going to hit the blocks, we are going to make house to house calls, have conversations and keep building that momentum that we have already,” he said.

Reifer noted that he was satisfied with the support his campaign has been receiving. He said while his team hosted a shop crawl within the constituency last evening, “a lot of people came out and support”.

“A lot of people within the communities came out to the shops and we had a blast last night. I just want to say thanks to everybody that came out and supported. Let’s continue to fight and let’s continue to push forward,” Reifer said. (AH)
